Is this just a quirk with Lotus Notes or do all email systems work like this. Obviously this could cause some serious problems if the response is really something that the other recipients shouldn't be privy to. Isn't the purpose of the bcc to "secretly" send someone an email without the other recipients knowing.

Obviously now they have become aware that someone was bcc'd. The person who was bcc'd apparently replied back using "Reply to All" and the other recipients also received the reply. She sent an email to several recipients and also bcc'd someone. A user I support alerted me to a problem that I had never thought about before.
